Ammannia Red DESCRIPTION Ammannia is one of the few red plants in the hobby. Tho it is not a dificult plant to keep it is more difficult than other red plants like ludwigia. Due to the medium grow it is a good option for mid ground and to create contrast against rocks, driftwood or against green plants. Remember that to keep vibrant red colors over time it is required to add an iron supplement like with any other red plant . Ammania Gracilis can easily propagate in aquarium condition. It reproduces by seeds or cuttings of stem and side shoots on a substrate.
