Still solid with no splits, tears, other writing, cutouts, etc. and would still rate VG overall. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking fairly lightly played. There are some light scuffs, marks and faint hairlines – no actual scratches i.e. something that can be felt with a fingernail. VG visually and plays well but with a spots of light groove noise and some random soft tics – not too surpising for a children’s record and might be improved by a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. DESCRIPTION Original Television Cast – “Rankin / Bass Presents Frosty’s Winter Wonderland – Complete Story And Original Soundtrack” Disneyland Records 1368 (Mono) from 1976. Hard to find First Pressing Original TV Animation / Cartoon Cast album of “Frosty’s Winter Wonderland” featuring the talents of Andy Griffith, Shelley Winters, Dennis Day, Jackie Vernon, Paul Frees and more. This Rankin / Bass Animated film was an ABC TV special premiering December 2, 1976. In the Original Cover with No Cutouts, Promo markings or Barcode. On the Yellow / Rainbow Disneyland Labels. This is a First Pressing as indicated by the Matrix / Runout Vinyl markings which read: Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side A): 1368-WK-976-SIDE 1 United K Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side B): 1368-WK-976-SIDE 2 United K CONDITION The Sleeve is in okay shape. There is some shelf wear including some wear on the center of the spine, edge creasing and corner softening/wear. There is a little writing in the upper right corner and a slight water / spill staining on the bottom corners. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine’s words: Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don’t affect one’s listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,… Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I’ve had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But…. it also means that I don’t issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. « That’s not MY idea of a VG record! » – I don’t know what your standards are and, as such, can’t grade to them.
