For golfers who don’t want to compromise on everything: looks, feel, and score.It is the 10th anniversary of the birth of APEX brand irons. The new “APEX PERFORMANCE SERIES” was developed out of the desire to create a product appropriate for this commemorative year. The theme is “for those who do not compromise on score, look and feel, and, of course, performance. The APEX Ai200 irons, one of the series, is truly a model that meets all of these requirements. With a hollow construction, the design is as sharp as the APEX PRO irons. The face, combined with the soft-iron forged body, is forged from Carpenter 455 steel, which is characterized by its strength and resilience, providing players with high ball speeds and a comfortable feel. Utilizing data input mainly from golfers with scores in the 80’s, the Ai Smart Face also delivers spin and launch angles that allow players to aim dead on target. The loft is 30 degrees at I#7, a standard setting in the modern era. [Successor to the 2021 APEX irons, similar in design to the APEX PRO irons.The APEX Ai200 irons are positioned as the successor to the 2021 APEX irons. It has a cleaner look than its predecessor, with a slightly sharper top blade and a moderate offset. The back face was cavity back in the previous model, but this time it has a hollow structure, similar to the APEX PRO irons introduced in 2023, which also looks like a muscle back. Also, trapezoidal weights are mounted at the bottom to optimize the center of gravity and adjust ball elevation, similar to the APEX PRO irons. Forged body and face for a feel that will satisfy even the most demanding tour players.The body of the APEX Ai200 irons is made of forged soft iron, while the face is made of Carpenter 455 steel instead of the 17-4 stainless steel used in the previous model, and is also forged. The combination of forged face and body is unique among composite material and construction models, and produces a level of feel and feel that even tour players will appreciate. Carpenter 455 steel allows for incredible ball speeds.The face material, Carpenter 455 Steel, was also used in the 2023 PARADYM irons and is characterized by its strength and high resilience. The Ai Smart Face is based on more detailed and numerous inputs from middle handicappers (golfers with scores in the 80s), and the AI further optimizes spin and launch angle while achieving higher ball speeds than the previous model. The forged construction and Ai Smart Face have been brushed up to deliver approximately 500 RPM more spin than PARADYM irons using the same face material, allowing the ball to rise higher and stop more precisely to hit the target. The well-known urethane microsphere reduces unnecessary vibration.The backside of the face inside the hollow structure is also equipped with Callaway’s patented urethane microspheres. The urethane microsphere reduces unnecessary vibration without interfering with face deflection, resulting in a better hitting feel. The new irons are available in a total of eight different shafts (I#4-9, PW, and AW) and two types of steel shafts.The APEX Ai200 irons come in a total of eight iron numbers, I#4-9, PW, and AW. The loft of I#7 is 30 degrees, which is only slightly higher than the previous APEX irons (30.5 degrees), but it is a standard setting in the modern age. Two steel models are available for the shaft.
