This is the amazing returning « Throwback » Boomerang model, by Roundtrip Boomerangs! It is brand new and being sold by the crafter. Two colors are available: Red or Blue. Specify in note to seller which color you prefer. (If no note, one of those two colors will be shipped.) The Throwback Boomerang is available in RIGHT or LEFT handed models. (It really makes a difference!) Please specify if you need a LEFT hander in « note to seller » at checkout. If you do not specify, you will receive a right handed boomerang. We designed The « Throwback » Boomerang with a unique aerodynamic shape that provides a superior flight, better wind resistance and an easier catch than the traditional boomerangs of the past. Not all boomerangs are created equal! the airfoils have to be carved correctly and the boomerang must be thrown properly (overhand) to get a return and a catch.To see The Throwback fly, search Youtube for « The Throwback Boomerang » Another great video of our « Mantis » model flying can be found on YouTube by searching « Boomerang HMB2017. » See our backyard barn workshop in Ohio where I build them by searching Youtube « Roundtrip Boomerang Factory. » The Throwback is made of durable five-ply Baltic Birch plywood and is brightly colored to make it easy to see. It has a range of around 20 yards (which is short in terms of boomerangs, yet still requires an open field, such as a ball field or park.) It is handcrafted and painted in Ohio by Gregg Snouffer, former coach and team member of the United States Boomerang Team and five time world champion thrower. Comes with complete illustrated throwing instructions and links to online instructions to get you throwing and catching fast! The size is 12 inches from tip to tip. It’s easy to learn and takes the same overhand throw as a baseball or football. Makes a great training device, developing the throwing skill. Great for t-ball and baseball players. Also a great gift for for frisbee and kite enthusiasts, science-minded, or anyone that likes to get outside and have fun! Stimulate curiosity in science, aerodynamics, history and art!
